About
I help clients strategically protect innovations and brands in order to achieve dominance in their given market and expand into new, desirable markets. I also provide clients with creative solutions to solve infringement disputes as well as to monetize their existing portfolios. My clients rest easier knowing that I am behind them providing protection and helping them to monetize their intellectual property. My clients’ profitability has increased not only from monetized portfolios, but also due to lower overall billings as a result of my learned efficiencies.
I have significant legal experience preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications and working on high-stakes litigation matters at a large IP boutique (Oliff & Berridge), at an AmLaw 200 firm (Snell & Wilmer), and at an AmLaw 100 firm (Polsinelli). At these firms, I worked with multiple cutting-edge technologies including software (with an artificial intelligence focus), automotive and aerospace technologies for multinational Fortune 500 companies, and leading research institutions. In every firm I worked, I gained the reputation as “the guy” who could quickly learn and understand any new technologies. Over my practice, I have gained the skills necessary to complete projects accurately and timely, always impressing my clients with the best work product at competitive prices.
Prior to law school, I worked as an engineer at multiple high tech firms designing software, firmware, and hardware for satellite and other communication systems. I also have experience operating a technology transfer company overseas, giving me valuable insight into the daily requirements of running a business as well as tools that allow me to work effectively with foreign entities.
